7 Pot 007 Red

The 7 Pot 007 Red is a super-hot Capsicum chinense cultivar developed by American breeder Butch Taylor. It is a hybrid cross between the Trinidad 7 Pot and the Naga Morich, both recognised for their extreme heat.

The pods are irregular and bumpy, typically measuring between 2 and 5 centimetres in length, and mature from green to red. Variations in pod colour, including chocolate and orange forms, have been observed.

This variety is considered genetically unstable, with variation in plant growth and pod characteristics. The plants are known to perform well in moist, shaded growing conditions.
