7 Pot Infinity

The 7 Pot Infinity is a super-hot Capsicum chinense chilli developed by English breeder Nick Woods of Fire Foods in Grantham, Lincolnshire. In February 2011, it briefly held the Guinness World Record for the world's hottest chilli, measuring 1,067,286 Scoville Heat Units, before the record was surpassed shortly afterwards.

The pods are wrinkled and Habanero-like in shape, maturing from green to red. As with other peppers in the 7 Pot group, the name reflects the traditional belief that a single pod is capable of heating seven pots of stew.
