About this pepper
The 7 Pot Julian is a super-hot Capsicum chinense variety associated with Trinidad and Tobago. It is closely related to the 7 Pot Jonah, sharing a similar overall structure, while displaying subtle differences in pod shape and plant behaviour.
The pods mature from light green to bright red and develop an oblong form with slight ridging. Their surface is heavily wrinkled and gnarly, consistent with many peppers in the 7 Pot lineage. Heat levels are estimated at around 1,300,000 Scoville Heat Units.
This variety is recognised for strong productivity, including reliable performance in container growing. The flavour profile is described as sweet and fruity, and the pods are commonly used for drying and powder production.
