About this pepper

The 7 Pot Katie is a super-hot Capsicum chinense hybrid developed in the United Kingdom by Nick Duran, also known as Naga Nick. Named after a daughter of one of the growers, it is a cross between the Naga Viper and the Red Trinidad 7 Pot. The cultivar briefly held the record for the world's hottest chilli, with reported heat levels reaching approximately 1,590,000 Scoville Heat Units.

The plant grows vigorously and can reach around 1.2 metres in height, producing large, rounded pods with a slightly indented tip. Pods mature from green to deep red and are known for a fruity flavour profile paired with extreme heat.
