About this pepper

The 7JPN is a Capsicum chinense hybrid developed in the United States by breeder Ryan Dulac. It is a cross between the 7 Pot Jonah and Pimenta de Neyde. Plants display dark green to purple foliage and produce pods that ripen from deep purple to an orange-peach colour with retained purple splotching.

The pods are generally round and wrinkled, measuring approximately 2 centimetres in diameter. The flavour is fruity, and the heat level exceeds that of habanero peppers while remaining below the upper range of super-hot cultivars.
