Ají Lemon (Lemon Drop)

Aji Lemon, commonly known as Lemon Drop, is a Capsicum baccatum pepper traditionally grown in Peru. It produces bright yellow pods with a strong lemon-citrus flavour.

The plant shows classic baccatum traits, including pale flowers with green or yellow spots. Heat levels vary by strain but are typically moderate.

In English-language seed markets, Lemon Drop is often confused with yellow chinense peppers sold as Aji Limon, despite being a different species.
