About this pepper

The Aji Lemon Balls is a Capsicum baccatum cultivar refined in Canada by Francis Gagnon, originating from an F2 generation line sourced from the former South Lincs Chilli Boys. It is believed to be a variant of Aji Lemon, though its exact lineage remains uncertain.

The pods have a rounded, habanero-like shape with thick walls that provide a crunchy texture. The flavour profile is fruity and citrus-forward with noticeable sweetness and lacks the floral or bitter notes sometimes present in other baccatum varieties. Heat levels are considered mild to medium, with an estimated rating of around 50,000 Scoville Heat Units.

Due to its uncertain filial generation, some variation in plant structure and pod characteristics may occur between individual plants.
