About this pepper

The Aji Lilly Teolinda is a Capsicum baccatum hybrid created by Swedish breeder Eva Ingelsson. It is a cross between Aji Omnicolor and Aji White Fantasy and is named in honour of Ingelsson's grandmother, Lilly Teolinda.

The pods are elongated and slightly twisted, tapering to a pointed end, with a glossy surface. They display a distinctive striped pattern, featuring a base colour ranging from pale cream to light peach, overlaid with red streaks that vary in intensity between individual fruits.

The flavour is consistent with Capsicum baccatum characteristics, combining fruitiness with a moderate heat level. Plants are productive and produce pods that shift in colour as they mature. As a relatively new hybrid, further cultivation will continue to clarify its stability and growth traits.
