About this pepper

BadFish is a variegated Capsicum annuum variety developed in the United States. It originated from an initial cross between Fish pepper and Bryan's Blood, followed by a further cross with Biker Billy Jalapeño. The first cross was made by Eric Knight, who supplied F1 seed, with subsequent selection and stabilisation carried out by Bryan Townshend of Towns-End Chili & Spice.

Plants display distinctive variegated foliage and produce pods with a mild heat level. The flavour is fruity and well balanced, making the variety suitable for fresh use while also being valued for its ornamental appearance.
