About this pepper

Bhut Peach Copenhagen is a superhot Capsicum chinense line that was already circulating among growers by 2017. Public references place it within the Copenhagen Bhut group, a Danish-selected Bhut line associated with productive plants, fruity flavour, and shorter, broader, heavily wrinkled Bhut-type pods rather than the longer, slimmer shape often seen in more standard ghost pepper material.

In its peach form, the variety is best represented as a green-foliaged plant carrying wrinkled peach-ripening Bhut-type fruit with a strong fruity aroma and intense lingering heat. The overall profile fits the peach Bhut side of the Jolokia family, with sweetness in the aroma and flavour before a full superhot burn, while the Copenhagen identity ties it to the Danish Bhut line that became known for its productivity and distinctive squat, chubby pod shape.
