Bico Roxa

Bico Roxa is a Capsicum chinense hybrid originating from Brazil, developed from a cross between Biquinho and Pimenta Bode Roxa. The plant has a compact growth habit and can reach up to approximately one metre in height. Stems and foliage are notably dark in colour.

The pods are small and teardrop shaped, undergoing a pronounced colour progression from black to purple, burgundy, orange, and finally red at full maturity. Heat levels are mild, and the flavour profile is sweet and fruity, making the variety suitable for a range of culinary applications.
