Bolivian Rainbow

Bolivian Rainbow is a Capsicum annuum variety traditionally associated with Bolivia and cultivated for many generations. The plant produces small, conical pods measuring around 2.5 centimetres in length.

Pods develop through a distinctive colour sequence, beginning purple and transitioning through yellow and orange before reaching red at full maturity. Plants often display multiple pod colours simultaneously, along with purple-tinged foliage and flowers, contributing to strong ornamental appeal.

Despite its appearance, the pepper is fully edible. The flavour is crisp and slightly grassy, paired with a moderate heat level comparable to serrano-type peppers.
