The name suggests a Bhut Jolokia-like pod shape combined with Carolina Reaper genetics. Pods are described as elongated, bright red, and extremely wrinkled. Some sellers note a distinctive rope-like internal placenta structure. Detailed formal morphological measurements are not consistently published.

Heat is commonly marketed at approximately 1569300 SHU. This figure comes from seed supplier descriptions rather than a specific independently published laboratory test for the BSR designation. No formal agricultural testing labelled specifically as “BSR” is widely available. The heat level is positioned within the known extreme range of Carolina Reaper lines.
