Diamond

Diamond is a sweet bell pepper grown mainly for its translucent ivory to white immature stage. Many descriptions note that it holds this pale, almost see-through colour for an extended period before ripening further to pale yellow and finally red.

Some listings also describe an orange phase between yellow and red, while others only list white, yellow, and red. This difference likely reflects strain variation or how individual sellers describe ripeness stages.

Pods are blocky bells with 3–4 lobes, typically about 7.5–10 cm long and 7.5–9 cm wide.

Plant height is often listed at around 30.5–45.5 cm, though some catalogues describe plants closer to 60 cm. Reported size appears to vary by seed source and growing conditions.

It is used as a sweet pepper for fresh eating, including colour-mix salads, and for stuffing.
