Fantamas Multicolor
Fantamas Multicolor is a modern Capsicum chinense hybrid that entered public circulation by 2020 and is strongly associated with Fatalii Seeds in Finland. Seller and grower references treat it as a multicolour superhot line, and one retail description identifies it as a cross between 7 Pot Primo and Fatalii. In pepper-growing circles it became known for its strong anthocyanin colouring, ornamental value, and fruity chinense character rather than for a standard single-colour ripe stage.
Plants are described as compact to medium-sized and bushy, commonly around 50.0 to 80.0 cm tall. Grower references describe it as extremely prolific, with one public grow note reporting about 70 pods on a 2 litre plant, while retail descriptions present it as dependable in containers and garden beds.
The pods are elongated, glossy, and thick-walled, with one seller description placing them at about 15.0 cm long. Their colour development is the main trait that made the pepper notable. Pods begin green, quickly develop deep purple to black-purple colouring or a strong purple blush in good sun, and then mature to a creamy peach or apricot tone that often keeps lighter or darker purple blushing. Some grower descriptions summarise the sequence as green to black to purple to peach, while others describe green to purple to peach or cream.
Its flavour is repeatedly described as fruity and aromatic, with some seller text adding a smoky note. Retail descriptions recommend it for sauces, powders, and general spicy cooking, and grower-facing writeups frame it as a pepper grown as much for appearance as for culinary use.
A major factual conflict appears in published heat estimates. One reseller lists it at about 50000 SHU, while several other seller and grower references describe it as a superhot, place it around 1000000 SHU, or simply rate it at heat level 10.
