About this pepper

Fidalgo Roxa x Grao de Bode is a Capsicum chinense hybrid developed in Finland by Fatalii Seeds. It is a cross between two Brazilian peppers, Fidalgo Roxa and Grao de Bode.

Plants are known for high productivity and produce visually distinctive pods that mature to pink or cream tones. Pod shape and plant traits can vary due to the hybrid still being in an early generation.

The flavour is fruity and aromatic, paired with a high heat level of around 125,000 Scoville Heat Units. As an F3 generation hybrid, this variety is not yet genetically stabilised, and further selection is required to fix traits.
