Hallows Eve is a modern superhot Capsicum chinense hybrid created by Joker Chilli Farm from Bhut Jolokia x Pimenta de Neyde. In pepper-growing circles it became known as a dark, highly ornamental superhot with a strong ghost-like shape and dramatic late-season colour change. The earliest public reference located places Hallows Eve in Joker Chilli Farm material dated 10 August 2018, showing that the line was already named and in circulation by then.

The plant is vigorous and tall, usually about 100.0 to 130.0 cm high, with very dark foliage that ranges from deep purple to nearly black. Dark stems and heavy anthocyanin expression are regularly associated with the line, giving the plant a strong ornamental presence even before the pods begin to ripen. Grower and seller descriptions consistently present it as a striking garden plant as much as a culinary superhot.

The pods are generally short to medium, elongated, ribbed, and textured, usually around 4.0 cm long. They begin very dark purple to black and then mature through orange into orange-peach tones, often keeping purple highlights or mottling that gives the fruit a molten or lava-like appearance.
