About this pepper

Indian Chili Bullet, also known as Bullet Lanka or Bullet Mirchi, is a Capsicum annuum pepper originating from West Bengal, India. It is widely used in Indian cooking for its reliable heat and compact growth habit.

Plants are compact and well suited to container growing, yet perform well in warm, humid climates and can tolerate cooler conditions. Pods grow in clusters and are cone-shaped, measuring approximately 5 centimetres long and 1 to 2 centimetres wide. Fruits mature from dark green to bright red.

The flavour is slightly sweet with a pronounced heat, commonly reaching around 60,000 Scoville Heat Units. Indian Chili Bullet is used fresh, dried, or cooked in a wide range of Indian dishes and is valued for its productivity and adaptability.
