About this pepper

Primotalii is a Capsicum chinense superhot developed in the United Kingdom by Chris Saunders in 2012. It is a cross between 7 Pot Primo and Fatalii and is known for extreme heat and distinctive pod shape.

Plants typically grow to around 90 centimetres in height and produce moderate yields. Pods are heavily wrinkled and bumpy with very long, thin tails that often exceed 2.5 centimetres. Fruits mature from green to bright red at full ripeness and usually measure between 5 and 7.5 centimetres in length.

Heat levels are extreme and can reach up to approximately 2,200,000 Scoville Heat Units. Despite the intensity, Primotalii has a complex flavour profile that is fruity, citrus-forward, sweet, and lightly floral.
