Plants are vigorous and can reach between 0.9 and 1.5 metres in height. Foliage is dark green with purple accents caused by anthocyanin expression. Pods are pendant, small, and pumpkin-shaped, typically measuring 1.25 to 2.5 centimetres in both length and diameter.
